Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 11th May 2026
1. Who we are
Qindred is operated by Neel Patel and Justin Trop (referred to in this policy as "Qindred", "we", "us", or "our").
By joining Qindred you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before subscribing. If you have any questions please contact us at hello@qindredcommunity.com before joining.
2. Eligibility
To join Qindred you must:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Be joining in the spirit of the Qindred community and commit to respecting its values and the safety of its members
- Provide accurate and truthful information when joining and completing your questionnaire
- Agree to these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines
We reserve the right to refuse or revoke membership at our sole discretion where we believe these eligibility requirements are not met.
3. Membership and subscription
3.1 Founding membership
The first 100 members who join Qindred are eligible for the founding membership rate of £9 per month. This rate is permanent for founding members who remain continuously subscribed. If a founding member cancels their subscription and later rejoins, the founding rate is no longer available and standard pricing applies.
3.2 Standard membership
Standard membership is priced at £18 per month. Pricing may be updated from time to time. We will give members at least 30 days notice of any price changes.
3.3 Billing
Your subscription is billed monthly via Stripe. For founding members, your first payment of £9 covers your first month. Your next charge will not occur until one month after the first Qindred dinner takes place. Subsequent charges occur monthly on the same date.
3.4 Automatic renewal
Your subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your billing portal or by contacting us at hello@qindredcommunity.com.
3.5 No refunds
All subscription fees are non-refundable. If you cancel your membership you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partially used periods or unused months.
3.6 Pausing your subscription
You may request to pause your subscription for up to three months by contacting us at hello@qindredcommunity.com. After three months your subscription will resume automatically.
3.7 Pre-launch period
During the pre-launch period, before Qindred reaches 100 founding members, subscriptions are paused after the first payment. No further charges will be made until the first dinner takes place. Your place and founding rate are secured from the date of your first payment.
4. What Qindred provides
Your membership includes:
- Weekly opt-in matching for Wednesday evening dinners in London, typically with groups of 5 to 6 members. Group sizes may vary depending on member availability.
- Access to monthly gatherings at a carefully chosen venue in London
- Matching based on your questionnaire responses covering personality, values, lifestyle, and budget
- Weekly opt-in messages via WhatsApp every Sunday to confirm attendance for that week's dinner
- Ongoing community communications via email
Qindred arranges the matching, coordination, and venue selection for all events. The cost of food and drinks is not included in your membership — at Wednesday dinners you pay for your meal and drinks directly at the restaurant, and at monthly gatherings you pay for your drinks directly at the venue.
5. What Qindred does not provide
Qindred is a community matching and coordination service. We do not guarantee:
- That you will form friendships or relationships with other members
- That any specific number of members will attend any given dinner
- That venues will meet any specific standard beyond being LGBTQ+ friendly
- Any particular outcome from your membership
Qindred is not a dating service, therapy service, or professional networking service.
6. Member responsibilities
As a Qindred member you agree to:
- Opt in or out of each week's dinner by the Monday deadline when contacted via WhatsApp
- Give at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend a dinner you have confirmed
- Treat all members, Qindred staff, and venue staff with respect and in accordance with our Community Guidelines
- Provide accurate information in your questionnaire and notify us of any significant changes
7. No-show policy
We ask all members to show up for dinners they have confirmed. Last minute no-shows affect the experience of the whole table.
If you are unable to attend please notify us as soon as possible and at least 24 hours before the dinner.
- First no-show without 24 hours notice within any three month period: you will receive a reminder of this policy
- Second no-show without 24 hours notice within any three month period: your matching will be paused until you confirm recommitment to us
We reserve the right to terminate membership where a pattern of no-shows continues.
8. Community rules and removal
All members must comply with our Community Guidelines at all times. Our Community Guidelines form part of these Terms and Conditions.
We operate a zero tolerance policy towards discrimination, harassment, or any behaviour that makes another member feel unsafe. Any member found to have breached our Community Guidelines in this respect will be removed from Qindred immediately and permanently without refund.
We reserve the right to remove any member from Qindred at our sole discretion where we believe their behaviour is incompatible with the values and safety of the community.
9. Intellectual property
9.1 Qindred's intellectual property
The Qindred name, logo, brand, website, matching methodology, and all associated content are the intellectual property of Neel Patel and Justin Trop. You may not reproduce, copy, or commercially exploit any of these without our prior written consent.
9.2 Your content
You retain ownership of any content you create and share in connection with Qindred — including photos, messages, and reviews. By sharing content in any Qindred channel or tagging Qindred on social media, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content for promotional and community-building purposes.
9.3 Event photography
Qindred and its representatives may take photographs at events for use in our marketing and community communications. By attending Qindred events you consent to being photographed. If you do not wish to be photographed please notify us at hello@qindredcommunity.com or inform a Qindred representative at the event and we will ensure you are not included in any photos used publicly.
9.4 No scraping
You may not scrape, copy, or reproduce any member data, matching information, or proprietary content from Qindred's platform or communications for any purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Qindred's total liability to you in connection with your membership — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — is limited to the total subscription fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for:
- Any indirect, consequential, or special loss or damage
- Loss of enjoyment, opportunity, or anticipated benefit from membership
- The conduct or behaviour of other members at events
- Any loss or damage arising from your attendance at events or venues
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Changes to the service
We may update or change the Qindred service, pricing, or these Terms from time to time. We will give members at least 30 days notice of any material changes by email. Continued use of your membership after that notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the changes you may cancel your membership before they take effect.
12. Dispute resolution
If you have a complaint or dispute relating to your Qindred membership please contact us first at hello@qindredcommunity.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and work to resolve it fairly and promptly.
We hope to resolve all disputes informally. If we are unable to reach a resolution you may refer the matter to the courts of England and Wales.
13. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
